It is with much pleasure that we are offering the Journal to our readers online. After a lapse of a few years due to unavoidable circumstances, the MJCMP was revived under the leadership of Prof. Aung Than Batu and was published quarterly from January 2018 until January 2021. The April, July and October issues for 2021 were skipped again, because of the very difficult times the country was going through. However, the Editorial Board felt that our readers should not be deprived access to the collection of current medical practices that we do our best to offer; and decided, in keeping with the global trends, to publish online.
There are many journals available online, some of which being restricted to subscribers. But the unwavering aim of our Journal is to provide easy access to knowledge as widely as possible, so it is offered free. The number of visits for the January 2022 issue has been encouraging although we hope the numbers will increase over time and will prove to be a valuable reference platform for General Practitioners in the districts.
We would like to invite readers to spread the word about the MJCMP’s availability online, and also to contribute articles, personal anecdotes, reminiscences, short communications on cases of interest, research findings, reflections, Letters to the Editor.
